The Aadhaar card has also been made mandatory in the open
school exams so that there is no problem in the examination. So, in the open
school examinations, the case of examination of any other candidate instead of
the candidate has surfaced several times. Aadhaar card has been made mandatory
for prevention of this.
Only after the instruction of the HRD Ministry, National Institute of Open Learning (NIOS) has decided that it is mandatory to have Aadhaar card for Candidates taking the examination from now on. An NIOS official said that in the examinations conducted this year in March this year it was seen that many candidates were not correct. He was testing instead of another candidate. Aadhaar card has been made mandatory for the prevention of this disturbance.
