Apply Online Registration of Prakriti Khoj-Environment Quiz Contest on ngc.nic.in

The Environment Ministry will launch an environment awareness initiative Prakriti Khoj Quiz Competition which will be held at national level. The candidates can make Prakriti Khoj Registration for Quiz Competition at the official website www.ngc.nic.in. The quiz competition will be launched on Today 5 September 2017 at the occasion of teacher’s day. The candidates can make Prakriti Khoj Quiz Competition registration 2017 will be at the newly launched official portal of National Green Corps (NGC). Prakriti Khoj-Environment Quiz other name is  online environmental quiz competition

Three age groups are planned to be covered in the first phase which will be open only to Eco-clubs that is in the age-groups 8-12 years, 13-15 years and 16-18 years.

Highlights of Prakriti Khoj-Environment Quiz

1. To impart knowledge to school children about their immediate environment, interactions within it and the problems.
2. To sensitize children to issues related to environment and development.
3. To motivate children towards environment conservation-oriented lifestyles.
4. To trigger the sensitivity towards nature appreciation and conservation, leading to positive environmental actions at different levels.

Eligibility criteria

Volunteers of Ecoclubs under National Green Corps programme of Ministry are eligible to participate. Nominations will be received through state nodal agencies.

7. Conventions like : Convention of Biological Diversity , United Nations Framework - Convention on Climate Change, Stockholm, Rotterdam etc.
8. Forests and Wildlife

Categories

1. Age group 8-12
2. Age group 13-15
3. Age group 16-18

Role of Students

1. Each student will receive the username and password on the mobile and email of School Coordinator/Principal
2. He/She will have to open the portal and start the quiz as per instructions on portal.

PRIZES

Winners will be determined by the computer/software. In case of multiple winners the decision of Secretary (EF&CC) will be final.

Apart from that all students participating will receive a E-certificate of Appreciation

How to apply for Registration of Prakriti Khoj-EnvironmentQuiz

• Candidates go to the Official Website: www.pkeq.nic.in.
• Click on Login Button (as highlighted below).

• Enter Login Details:

1. After clicking on the LOGIN button, you will get a Login screen as shown below.
2. Enter your Login credentials as received on your School email ID and click on SIGN IN button.

• Dashboard:

1. After Login into the system, you will be able to view your basic details.
2. In case there is any scheduled Quiz date, you will be able to view the same on your Dashboard.

• Start Quiz: On the date of Exam (Online Quiz), you will be able to view START QUIZ Button on your Dashboard.
• On clicking the same your Quiz gets Started and the same is to be completed within the given Time Schedule. (Do not click on this button until and unless you are ready for the Exam).

• Now you will start getting the Questions one by one (as shown below).
• You have to click on SUBMIT button after selecting your correct Answer to proceed for the next Question.

• In the same screen, you will also be able to view the Remaining Time for Quiz.

• After completing the Quiz, you will get the Result there itself (as shown below). This is only the result and your eligibility for the next Round will be indicated later.

• You can view your previous result (if any) by clicking on PREVIOUS RESULT Button .
