The dates for the assembly elections in Haryana were released today by the Indian Election Commission. The dates for the assembly elections were announced at a news conference by Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar and Election Commissioners Gyanesh Kumar and Sukhbir Singh Sandhu.

This year, on October 1, Haryana will hold a single phase of assembly elections to choose the state's 90 members. October 4 will be the date of the vote count. November 3, 2024, is when the Haryana Legislative Assembly's term comes to an end.

IN Haryana there are 2.01 crore voters.And the accuracy of male voters is 1.06 crores and 0.95 crores female voters, 40.95 lakhs are young voters and 4.52 lakhs are first-time voters. There are 20,629 polling booths in Haryana.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) formed a coalition government following the October 2019 Assembly elections. After the election, Manohar Lal Khattar was named Chief Minister.
